Grades 4 & 5 Spelling Bee

The 3 elementary schools banded together in coordination with the Women's Club of Ridgefield Park to hold a grade 4 and 5 Spelling Bee on February 6th evening at Lincoln School. With 33 participants, and several rounds, the top three students in order from first to third were Olivia Morales, Ezekiel Espaillat, and Jason Zarif. The three elementary principals, Mr. Cata, Dr. Ferraro, and Mrs. Hernandez, were all in attendance and so proud of all the students. It's not easy to stand up in front of the public and spell some tough words out loud. It was truly an enjoyable evening, where staff, community members, parents, and students came together, and we hope this event becomes even more popular for the future!
