Summer Assignments

Summer Assignment

Dear Parents,

As the end of the year has officially come to a close, we congratulate all of our students on a successful academic year. Students who continue to read and practice their math skills throughout the summer will be better prepared for the start of the school year.

Statistics show that students who continue to read usually maintain previously acquired academic progress. The Reading Summer Packet provided will assist your child with the goal of reading during the summer. Please encourage your child to read and be mindful of their reading level. Your child's reading level was sent home by their teacher during the last week of school.

The Math Summer Packet was developed to provide your child with an opportunity to practice and reinforce grade-appropriate math skills during the summer break and to prepare your child for the upcoming school year. In addition to math worksheets, we are very excited about the "Family Game Night" component of our summer packet. Involving children in math-related games is a great way to expose them to mathematics in everyday life. In addition, a list of recommended websites has been provided. These websites can be used by your child to both reinforce and build math skills.

Below please find your child's grade level summer packet. Click on the link to download and print your child's packet.

Please have your child return their completed summer packet on the first day of school. If you have any questions, please email me at Please include your child's name, grade level, and school in all correspondence.
