Classroom Experiment

On Friday, April 11th, Veolia Water Company visited Grant School for a fun and educational day. Students from Pre-K through 6th grade took part in exciting activities to learn about science and the environment.

Pre-K through 1st grade students learned about thunderstorms. They listened to a story and completed a coloring sheet to help understand how thunderstorms work.

Second grade students studied water and the states of matter. They even got to do a fun experiment to see science in action!

Students in 3rd through 6th grade focused on the three R’s—Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. They learned how to protect the Earth and reduce plastic waste. Each student turned a plastic bottle into a self-watering planter to take home.

Everyone had a great time and enjoyed learning with the team from Veolia. We look forward to their next visit at the end of the school year!
