On September 28th through the 30th Grant School students were invited to visit the Scholastic Book Fair. Students shopped until they dropped! They were excited to see books written by their favorite authors as well as newly released books. It was great to see so many smiling faces as they left the gymnasium eager to return to their classrooms and read their new books. Teachers were also on the lookout for students who were “caught” reading. If a student was caught reading, their name was submitted into a raffle for a free book. Congratulations to our two winners, Nicholas Fernandez and Mila Dunn.
A big thank you to the PTA for supporting our students’ love of reading by bringing the book fair to our school.
