Welcome Betty

Welcome back Grant School families! We are thrilled to have our students and faculty in the building. On September 6th, the whole school met to kick off the new school year. Our students in Kindergarten-6th grade provided a warm welcome to our new Pre-k students. In addition, we spoke about our school’s expectations and the students learned about how to collect Bragtags this year. At the end of our assembly we sang happy birthday to our bulldog Buster, who turned 3 years old. Buster gifted each student a small pop-it to wear on their lanyard for when they need something to play with. Also, Buster had an important announcement to the students. His younger sister Betty was going to start school this year! We welcomed Betty with a drum roll and students were able to see what she looked like on the big screen. Be on the lookout for Betty. She will be featured on upcoming spirit wear!
