The students participated in the Wax Museum on Friday, March 1st, which has become an annual event for 6th grade students at Grant School. The students did an excellent job representing a variety of  people from way back in the past to contemporary figures of today. This year’s Wax Museum included musicians, artists, actors, several soccer players (from all over the world), a war hero and even a visit from Derek Jeter!

The students prepared for the Wax Museum by conducting research using specific guided reading questions and then compiled their information into a graphic organizer. From the graphic organizer the students chose what information that they would share with the visitors. The students were well prepared and our visitors thought the students were fantastic!
