November is the month where we focus on the character trait of gratitude. Our school is grateful for such a supportive and loving community.  On Wednesday, November 23rd we were able to restart our Grant School Thanksgiving tradition.  After taking a two year break, we were grateful to be able to sit as a school and eat together.  Kindergarten, first grade, second grade and third grade joined us first in the all purpose room. Classes were ready with Thanksgiving placemats and our third graders were dressed up for the event.  Next, fourth grade, fifth grade and sixth grade came down for their feast.  Students were served a Thanksgiving meal that was catered by Boston Market.  Students were eager to eat turkey, mashed potatoes, cornbread and mac & cheese. In addition, our kindergarten and first grade students worked on a project called Turkey in Disguise.  They did a wonderful job disguising their turkeys!! Take a look.
