Spreading Holiday Cheer

Grant School PTA hosted a Breakfast with Santa event on Saturday, December 9th. There were over a 100 students present along with their families. The Grant School all purpose room was converted into a winter wonderland, where families were able to sit together to have breakfast, write letters to Santa, make crafts, color festive coloring pages, and children had the chance to win games and prizes. The coloring pages were donated to hospitals and nursing homes. When Santa came to visit, the group sang holiday songs, and took pictures with Santa. Thank you to the PTA for coordinating this wonderful event! In addition, the student’s of Grant School participated in Pajama Day on December 2nd and fundraised over $500 for CHOP, The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. The students were excited to learn about CHOP and how the hospital services only children. Grant School is proud to support CHOP, because they provide medical care for children in the Ridgefield Park community.
